1) Domain status meanings

Statuses tell you whether a domain is ready to send.

  • Pending means DNS verification has not completed.
  • Partial means some records are correct but setup is incomplete.
  • Verified means all required records are in place.
  • Failed means one or more records are invalid or missing.

2) Health metrics you should watch

Health trends matter more than one-time spikes.

  • Track bounce and complaint-related signals.
  • Watch sudden changes in send success rate.
  • Review domain-level totals to spot unusual spikes.
  • Pause sending quickly if health degrades significantly.
